Step 1. Enter the Heat Transfer Rating Table below and determine the Heat Transfer Rating based on Steam available, Inlet Water Temperature, and desired outlet Water Temperature.
Step 2. Determine the Exchanger Fouling Correction Factor from the Tables below.
Step 3. Multiply the Heat Transfer number selected in Step 1 by the Exchanger Fouling Correction Factor.
This yields the adjusted Heat Transfer Rating.
Step 4. Using the required Gallons Per Minute Output column, locate within the following tables an Exchanger with a Heat Transfer Rating lower than the corrected rating determined in Step 3.

The Manhours below assume the transporting distance will not be in excess of 200'0" and that site or other obstructions do not exist.
