Introduction to Oil & Gas Project Cost Benchmarking & KPI’s

€ 800.00 € 380.00

Benchmarking is increasingly being done in public and private projects, where the decision maker has access to large amounts of cost data for similar projects. Benchmarking is a process by which the estimated performance (often the cost) of a project is compared with other similar projects. This can highlight design areas that do not offer good value for money and can help in evaluating offers from suppliers and contractors. The value of an individual performance measure is limited, but combined, they provide a solid assessment of the quality of project management for individual projects and programs. If they are systematically applied over time and used for internal and external benchmarking, the measures will provide the necessary information for daily management and the improvement of long-term processes. It is the responsibility of the Management to select and use the measures that work best for the company and its departments.
